AlAthan (“the App”) provides prayer times, Qibla direction, and related features. This policy describes how we handle information.
The App uses your device location (or a location you choose) only to compute prayer times, moon data, and Qibla direction on your device. Location may be stored on your device for widgets and for your chosen city. We do not collect or store your location on our servers.
Pre-athan, athan, iqama reminders, and Live Activity triggers are all local: they are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We may use a device token or push token; this is only used for delivering occasional notifications and is not used for marketing.
Prayer times and countdowns shown on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Dynamic Island are generated on your device from your chosen location and settings. No personal data is sent to third parties for widgets or Live Activities.
Streaming is provided by a third-party (mp3quran.net). Their own policies may apply to any data involved in streaming.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current text is always available in the app under Settings.
